A Utah software company

We build software
to run your business better.

We got tired of business software that cost a fortune, looked a decade old, and still didn’t do the one thing we actually needed. So we built our own — by working the jobs, learning the trade, and sitting down with the people doing it every day.

Why we exist

We got sick of software that didn’t fit.

Every option we tried had the same problems — and every one of them was somebody else’s to fix, on their timeline, for a monthly fee.

01

It cost too much for what it did.

Hundreds a month for a calendar and a customer list, with the features you actually wanted parked behind the enterprise tier. You end up paying for a sales page, not a product.

02

It was already outdated.

Interfaces designed for a desktop in a back office, for a job that happens on your feet with wet hands. If it doesn’t work from a phone in a driveway, it doesn’t work.

03

It didn’t match how the work goes.

Built by people who’d read about the industry, not worked in it. Close enough to demo, wrong in every place that matters once you’re actually running a day.

04

Nobody was listening.

Support tickets into a void, feature requests that die in a backlog. When the people building the tool have never done the job, they can’t tell a nice-to-have from a dealbreaker.

How we build

We do the job first, then write the software.

Not focus groups and market research — actual shifts, actual customers, actual mistakes, and then a tool shaped around what we learned.

We work the trade

We’ve run the jobs ourselves — the good days, the reschedules, the customer who shows up an hour early with a car twice as dirty as they described. You can’t design around that from a spreadsheet.

We get to know our customers

Every shop runs a little differently. We sit down with the businesses using this, learn how their day actually goes, and build for that instead of an average that fits nobody.

What’s in it

One system instead of six.

The calendar, the customer list, the inventory sheet, the photo folder, and the card reader — in one place, on web, and in your pocket.

Booking & scheduling

A public booking page customers use themselves, plus a central calendar with bay-aware scheduling, staff shifts, and time-off requests.

Photos & job notes

Customers attach photos when they book so you can quote before the car arrives. Your crew adds before/after shots and notes to every job.

Payments — Square or Stripe

Take cards through Square at the counter or Stripe tap-to-pay from your phone. Both are free to open, with no monthly processor fee from us.

Services, products & pricing

Per-vehicle pricing, add-on modifiers, upcharges, and discounts. Sell retail products on the ticket, with sales tax handled for you.

Inventory

Track chemicals, film, pads, and retail stock, so you find out you’re low on something before a customer does.

Customers & crew

Full customer history and vehicles on one screen. Per-employee logins, roles and permissions, task assignment, and shift scheduling.

Reports & expenses

Revenue by service, tech productivity, customer retention, and average ticket — plus expense tracking so you see the whole picture.

Rewards & follow-up

An optional customer rewards program, automatic email notifications and reminders, and push alerts to your crew’s phones.

Point of sale

We work with Square and Stripe.

You keep your own merchant account and your own rates. We don’t sit in the middle of your money or add a processor fee on top.

Square — for the counter

Best for fixed-location shops. Your services and products sync to your Square catalog, and payments and invoices flow back into Clear Coat. A reader isn’t required — but we recommend one: chip, tap, and swipe all run at card-present rates, so you’re never stuck keying a number in at the higher fee.

Stripe — for the driveway

Best for mobile detailers. Tap-to-pay straight from an NFC phone, sales tax calculated at the customer’s address, and payouts to your own account. No hardware needed to start — but a reader is worth carrying, so a chip or swipe card never has to be keyed in at the higher rate.

Who it’s for

One platform, shaped to your trade.

Auto detailing is where we started, because it’s where we worked. The same system is presented for the trades next door.
