Mobile detailers use Stripe: accept in-person tap-to-pay right from the Clear Coat iOS or Android app on an NFC-capable phone. Neither processor strictly requires a card reader, but one is recommended on both — a reader also takes chip and swipe, so a card never has to be keyed in at the higher processing rate.
